Ayoub El Kaabi scored a stunning hat-trick as Olympiakos upset Aston Villa 4-2 on Thursday in the UEFA Europa Conference League. The Moroccan striker gave the Greek side a 2-0 lead before halftime, and after Villa had drawn level, he struck again in the second half to seal the victory. Hwang Ui-jo added a fourth for Olympiakos in the closing stages to secure the win.
The result leaves Olympiakos in a strong position to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition. They sit second in Group G, one point behind group leaders West Ham United. Aston Villa, meanwhile, are bottom of the group and face an uphill battle to qualify.
